Permanent Eyeliner

Permanent eyeliner is a cosmetic procedure in which a pigment is injected underneath the skin at the edge of the lid. Just as with eyeliner cosmetics, the appearance of the face can be changed to give a wider or narrower look, a more slanted look, etc. It is done mostly in earthtone colors and is intended as a form of enhancement, rather than taking the place of other types of cosmetics. It is a very safe procedure performed under local anesthetic. It is especially popular among younger, more active women who like to wear eyeliner, but either do not want to take the time to apply it or would like to avoid smearing from their sporting or other activities. It is also extremely useful for people who have very pale or lost lashes, or just have unsteady hands. The same procedure has been useful in enhancing eyebrows both in men and women and in various cosmetic surgery in other parts of the body.
